Kili had been walking down the street just getting some fresh air and planning on heading to the forest when she eventually came to pass the Panda Express. Normally she would have just continued to walk on absentmindedly and not pay it a single bit of attention, but not today. Today, the scent of the sweet and sour chicken and pork wafted through the open door and made her do a double take. She stopped and stared through the window at a couple eating at the table. The panther gave a painful lurch in her stomach and she frantically searched her bluejean pockets for any money she might have. Eventually she scrambled just enough money together for a lunch. A contented smile crossed her face and she went and ordered a heaping plate of sweet and sour chicken and the panther purred...

((Heh, Eric's jumping through a lot of posts.))
Eric's eyes lazily followed Kili when she walked into the resturaunt. He finnished up his orange chicken (Man, it was good! He didn't like the spice as much as he used to though...) and brushed off his hands, walking over to her. He knew this girl from school and she was in more than one of his classes, though he'd never taken the time to really get to know her. "Hey Kili," he said, slumping down in a chair next to her.

Kili looked around suddenly when she heard a boy walking in her direction and she immediately willed herself to try to eat slower. She didn't want to look like a complete and and didn't want anyone to get suspicious. It sure was hard though, that chicken was tastey! She spotted a boy walking in her direction that she recognized from several of her classes in high school. She smiled at him a little as he sat down and she said, "Hey Eric. What's up?"

"Ah, nothin, just bored out of my mind," he said with a shrug. He glanced up at Kili and suddenly grinned. "By the way, you got some sauce going down your chin."

"Yeah, same here,"Kili replied with a slight grin. Then she blushed a little and chuckled as she wiped the sauce going down her chin. It was always embarrassing to be found with sauce on your face. "Yeah..heh...I was...ummm....hungry." Then she grinned a little foolishly at him.

Eric just laughed, leaning back slightly in his chair as he did so. It was funny how girls freaked out over stuff like that. "Yea, I know what ya mean," he said with a wave of his hand. "Anyways, so...what you been up to lately--besides being bored I mean." Eric pulled out a pen and started clicking it randomly as a habbit.

Kili thought about his question for a moment before she answered, "Oh, not much. You know, the usual." She left it at that. Then she grinned and asked curiously, "So...what about you? What have you been up to lately?" She leaned back and took a sip of her drink, then looked at him and waited for him to answer.

"Er..." Eric's eyes shifted so they wouldn't have to meet hers. "Um, you know, the same, going to school and stuff." Truth be told he didn't really know what he'd been doing. He kept on having those dreams where he was a fox, only they happened all the time, not just at night. And they weren't so dreamlike anymore. He didnt' know that it was real. Afterall, he felt kind of in a trance when this happened, so it would have to be a dream...wouldn't it?
"Oh yea, you're going to the football game friday, right?" he asked, trying to get the guilt out of his eyes.

Kili drained her drink and thought about Eric's question for a moment. Then she nodded her head slightly and said, "Yeah, I'll probably be going. I want to, at least. My parents might not let me though, I'm kind of grounded. But I'll show up anyway." She had been having to sneak out a lot lately, it seemed she was always grounded. There were periods where she doesn't remember what she had been doing except for images of the panther. She'wasn't entirely sure what they meant, but she hoped it was something cool.

"Ok, cool," Eric said, standing up half way. "I got to go, but I'll see ya then, mmk?"
((Yar...Can't...think!))

Kili smiled slightly and nodded a little in agreement. When Eric stood up she said, "Yeah, see ya later." She waved a little as he left and then she got up and left herself.
