The guard's eyes were wide at the sight of weapons. Holy heck, I could have been shot or stabbed just now!
"Next time, eh?" the guard asked at Rio's first words. Please don't tell me he's coming back. Then he just shook his head. It wasn't his place to ask questions, even though he was dying to know what Rio would do with this guy. If he waited long enough and didn't seem too likely to tattle then he might get to stay long enough to find out.

"Yes, yes, of course...." Rio replied, his gaze shifting up to Hexon.
"I really have to stop being so.... what's the word.."
"Passive?"
"Yes, I believe that's the word."
Hexon just shrugged.
"Hey, don't complain to me. I'm just here to get this over with..."
Rio's jaw twitched slightly, and he nodded.
"Of course. Just give me a few minutes to prepare."
He stood up, and quickly shuffled through a door hidden in the back of his office. Okay, so the guard KNEW that hadn't been there before, but.....

Angel watched the the guard and someone she had never seen before walk through the door into the Proffessor's Office. She started wondering why he wanted to see that person and who was it? But she figured she'd find out eventually, so she continued to work.

The guard shifted uncomfortably, a firm hand kept on his pistol which was now out of his belt and in his hands behind his back. He didn't like people he couldn't trust and in his eyes it was always better just to get rid of them. But he would wait. What was Rio trying to do? This guy must be part of that experiment that rumor said Rio was working on. Not that anyone knew what that experiment was, but now he'd find out.

"Come in." Rio said calmly as he finished whatever he was preparing. Hexon shot a glance at the guard, then walked inside through the hidden door. In that split second, Rio shot forwards, and slammed his fist into Hexon's gut, forcing him to stagger, then hit him in the back of the head, knocking him out.
"Tell Mr. Hein that the Correction to the Mistake we made is going to be ready by tomorrow. We'll have those rats back in no time if this is a success."

Angel heard a thud come from the room. But she didn't move cause she figured it was nothing important, so she kept working.
