Hexon flicked his sunglasses up onto his forehead, saying nothing as he stood in the shade of a tree not too far from the entrance of the AAGE Complex. "Well... I can't say I thought it would look like this, but no matter...." He flicked his sunglasses back down over his eyes as he brushed his bangs aside, and stepped into view of the guards.

((Hmm....I'll bring in my char later....ok if I rp one of the guards?))
The guards didn't immediately move to confront him, but they gave him a searching glance. At last one of them stepped forward, his hand brushing the pistol at his belt. "Do you have an access card?" he asked rather sharply. "If not then you'd better get moving."

"Access card?" Hexon asked. "Sorry, I can't say that I have one. Of course, I'm sure Professor Hikari wouldn't like me to be late...." Yeah, this guy had Surely heard of Rio. After all, being the head of the science department had its advantages. That, and they probably knew about Rio's temper when he didn't get his work finished....

The guard frowned as he tried to weigh his responsibilities of guard duty against the consequences of madening Mr. Hikari. At last the guard turned and snapped at another, "Oy! Hansen! You're on guard duty early, I have to do something."
Turning back to Hexon, he said, "Alright, come with me." There was no way he was letting this guy go in unattended. The guard no longer bothered to hide that he kept one hand on the hilt of the pistol, ready to pull it out in a second.

Hexon nodded, reacting instantly and following the guard. "I can tell you know Rio well, then." He yawned, glancing around. "You know, I honestly thought it would look bigger from the outside..."

"If it was any bigger it would draw attention," the guard said tersly as he stepped to the building's front and ran a card through the slot. The door opened with a small beep and he and Hexon entered the overly-clean complex. "Most of it is underground, 26 stories. A nuclear bomb could explode above and people on the last 15 floors would be perfectly safe." It wasn't his job to brag about AAGE, he simply wanted to impress something on this guy who, for some reason, greatly annoyed him. He pulled the card through yet another slot and the elevator doors opened, the guard slipping inside.

Hexon followed naturally, and nodded. "That makes sense." he said. "But you would honestly have to test that to be sure, wouldn't you?" He sighed, leaning against the elevator wall, and grinned. "So, any idea on what the Professor's working on, or is it just a general idea?"

"That's classified, runt," the guard snapped. Odd that he should be calling Hexon a runt, but at the same compaired to the um...large guard, he kind of was. "I am not authorized to tell you as much, even if I knew, which I don't. You'll have to get him to tell you." The elevator finnally opened on the 13th floor, the guard stepping out then glaring back at Hexon as though he didn't trust that he would acctually follow. Mr. Hikari's office was just a few hallways down.

"Floor Thirteen, eh?" He asked, stepping out of the elevator. That's a little too fitting... he thought. "So, he's just down the hall, am I right? You know, I half expected a metal-detector here, but oh well..."

"I bypassed the security in order to please Mr. Hikari. However...if you'd rather be searched, they do the full body search just two floors up." Basically that was the guard's way of saying shut up.
He stepped down the hallway and turned, going up a short flight of stairs to a raised office. He pressed a button by the intercom and waited patiently for clearance from Mr. Hikari.

A quick beep noted that they could enter. Hexon had seen this kind of intercom before. Basically used it in apartments, but it seemed like it had its uses other places. A quick thought flashed through his mind, but it didn't really put an impact in it, so he payed no mind to it.

The guard took a deep breath and stood, if possible, a little straighter. He opened the door and gestured sharply for Hexon to enter. He had a hand on the gun the entire time. "Get on!"

Hexon nodded, and calmly stepped through the door. He shot a quick glance at the guard and then... "Good, you made it." His attention spiked, and he shifted his eyes to look at Rio. "Of course I made it." "Ah, yes, of course... I suppose I should have expected as much from you." "Naturally."

"So he was called for by you, sir?" the guard asked, more out of custom than real need. "He was unsearched. I figured that if you truely did need him then you would want no delays."

"...You didn't send him through security?..." Rio asked coldly. "I suppose that next time, you should search the one person who always has a combat knife in the left strap of his jeans." Hexon smirked, suddenly pulling the knife out of the strap and placing it on the desk, followed moments after by his trusty Desert Eagle pistol. "And a desert eagle, too? I like your choice of weapons..." Hexon smirked, looking over to the guard. "Hey, I tried ta' warn you by asking about the security..." Hexon said with a grin. "Not like I would have had a reason to use it." Rio looked Hexon from head to toe, and nodded. "Brought a Katana, I see." Hexon's expression changed, and he nodded. "Observant, too. Let me guess. Tried a few projects on yourself?" "Of course. I would rather put myself in danger than my fellow scientists." "Odd choice." "Of course. Not put the Katana down." "Fine, fine..." He pulled off his trench coat, and unstrapped the katana hidden in his jacket. He was wearing a simple black shirt under the jacket, but quickly pulled his coat back on as he put the Katana down. "Do you always carry this much weaponary?" "Only on special occasions. I only bring a Katana when I think its needed." "Needed?" "For self defense. The blade was dulled in case I had to take on the guards if they didn't believe me."
