Eric made his way down the hall at the end of the day, his eyes glazed over. He was ignoring the fact that he was real close to being trampled by the stampeding students as they made their way out of the prison that was this school.
Eric was thinking about that dream he'd had last night. It had been another one of those wierd ones where he was a fox and was just wandering around town. He'd come through some house through the doggy door, following the smell of a juicy steak which he then found on the table in the kitchen and promptly stearted gulping it down. The wierdest part was that when he woke up he found he really was on in his kitchen with the remains of the steak on the floor around him. Eric thought it was funny but his mom freaked out and wanted him to go see a phsyciatrist. She was always like that.
He walked outside and kicked leisurely at a rock on the sidewalk. It went flying and dinged into a senior's snazy new car. Eric ran on very quickly.

Shikai was on her afternoon walk, and due to her getting out of school earlier, she had the chance to walk by the Jr. High and High School. As usual, she was reading a good book on her walk, and rarely paid attention to her surroundings. She heard someone yelling, but didn't pay any attention.
Thump!
She was on the sidewalk, she dropped her book, and looked up to the guy she just wlaked walking into. Or had he ran into her? She didn't really know for sure.

"Hmph!" Eric grunted as he was knocked to the ground. He blinked and stared at Shikai. "Heh, you alright?" he asked as he started to pull away from her.

Shikai nodded, "Yeah." she said, getting up and grabbing her book, "Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going..." She went over ot a nearby bench, it's not like her parents would care if she got home late, they weren't even there to know. She opened her book back up and started thumbing through the pages, finding her place.

Eric made a hesitant face. He wanted to talk, but she didn't seem like the talkative type. He turned to go, slipping his hands into his pockets.
Completely on impulse, he turned back towareds her. "Hey, um...do you...are you going to the football game tonight?"
((Shikai's 12, right? So she'd be in...7th grade?

[Yeah.]
Shikai looked up at Eric, "Probably not, there aren't very many people that would go with me." she said, looking back at her book and turning the page. The cover and back looked strange, cats? Why were there all these battling cats on the book? And a picture on the front showed a cat, tiger orange, with black stripes and amber eyes. (Brambleclaw, Warriors Starlight)

((Lol! Cute little thing for die-hard warriors fans lak me.))
"Well...I'd go with you," Eric said. Suddenly his face flushed red. Ok, he thought she was cute, so what!? You couldn't blame a guy for trying.

Shikai looked up, her face also flushed red, "Well, umm, okay." she said, pulling a bookmark out of some unknown pocket and putting it in her book, "Well, I'm Shikai." she said, standing up. She could tell her parents if she got a boyfriend via sticky note, but that would be later after the football game. Okay, she thought this guy was cute and seemed nice. Can't blame a girl for tryin'.

"Heh, I'm Eric," he said, giving a sheepish grin and scratching his head where the bandanna was. Holy heck, I just asked out a girl who didn't even know my name. Man, I'm good! "Hey where do you live anyways?"

Shikai looked up at him, well, up of course. He was older then her, "On the corner of Cherry Street." she said, where she lived wasn't too far, and it didn't take a long walk to get ot the school, "So... My parents are always out. We could head over to my house if you wanted." she said, almost with a sigh. Although to many kids this would be a great gift from above, but it was different to her. She hardly even knew her parents.

Eric heard the tone in her voice but took it the wrong way. He thought that she didn't really want him comming. But hey, she still offered, and Eric wasn't about to turn it down. "Sure! Let's go!"

Shikai smiled, she started going towards Cherry street, "My parents have a job that makes them work every day, from before I wake up 'til after I go to bed. I actually miss them." she sighed a little bit. They were on Cherry Street now, nearing her house. "Here it is.." she said, in her front yard, the two story fancy house towering before them.

Eric let out a low whistle. His own house wasn't bad, but it wasn't like this. "Heh, yea, but look at what you get!" he said with a grin. He began walking around the lawn, staring at the perfectly cut bushes, a little home-made waterfall going into a pond decorated with stone frogs. "Heh, well, I guess you can't really touch any of this stuff."

Cassandra was walking down the same street as Eric and Shikai, she didn't know why she was walking down this street but she had wanted to go on a walk.
